President's Message
As the society begins its new
year
of working toward meeting its objectives of local historical education
and preservation, we are anticipating an interesting year
of meetings and publications.
We are
very appreciative of the work that was done in the previous
administration.
In becoming more acquainted
with the operation of the society, it became apparent to me
that
there
is a cadre of very able, dedicated people without whom the
society would not have
been able to achieve what it has. We should all
be very appreciative of these people,
some of whom are still now
performing their jobs.
